I moved from the coast to the country, in the beautiful North York Moors a few years ago...while building up a new business
it took me away from my art for a while, but my new surroundings have made me re-think my subject, with new elements to consider.
I've recently been drawn to the dynamics of trees, how the shadows & shapes enhance & elaborate their structure,
from the skeletal shapes baring all, exposing & vulnerable in the winter to the fullness & softness of them in the summer.
